Saidimu’s family in Endana Kenya.
Sometimes I can’t imagine this is how it is back at home. Sometimes I try to ignore the reality but the truth is so harsh and so painful.
I see these pictures of happiness and sadness, pain and joy sliding around my head over and over again.
This is my reality. I promise you, I am doing any posible decent way to change this situation to the better! We soldier on people! Only one condition, EVERYBODY must fully play their part!
The situation is like it is because for the last 46 years, Kenya has decided to ignore our plight as a people! We the pastoral communities have been regarded as second class citizens. We’re hopeful now that 2011 is bring a better life for us too.
Saidimu.
