Sara and I are now back  to our Bagarmossen village  after a successfull weekend tour to Karlsborg where we sold the idea Maagi to Karlsborg community. Elin and Linda organized that Maagi travels to meet the good people of Karlsborg, a little military township between the Vetten and botten waters sorrounding what would have become an emergency headquarters for Sweden in the event Stockholm was attacked by the then  powerful enemies from the east.

Karlsborg population is estimated to be  7,000. The Göta Canal runs into Lake Vättern. Karlsborg Fort was  built in the 19th century and is still of military importance. In the event of war, the fortress would have served as the reserve capital of Sweden. Within the ring of walls and moats are a number of separate buildings; the Museum and the park are open to the public.

Linda and her family who runs a little income generating project liveslyckan took great of care us  with well planned bed and breakfast, guided tours and concert arranged for Maagi by Linda and her Choir partnership. Sara and I gave very inspiring and interactive speeches about our growing Maagi to an audience who were very interested on who Maagi is.

We’re hoping to get more paid-up members. Thanks to Linda and Livslyckan B and B for generously hosting us and for spreading the word about our campaigns against FGM for education.

Linda and her friends organized a consert at the PMU(Pingst kyrka) for Maagi. Thanks a lot Linda and we look forward to working together and continue telling your friend about our Maagi’s endeavors. We look forward to the next year’s function.

I personally take this opportunity to send a word of  thanks to the Karlsborg choir group who sung and and entertained the audience with such commitment and will for solidarity with fellow human beings. It was very inspiring to hear the poems read by the Church leader calling for solidarity among human beings because we are indeed our brother’s keepers.

Personally, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you, especially the PMU Church for hosting such an activity for us. The Coffee was specifically good and the company too.
