LawAfrica is the only legal publishing company in East Africa. Based in Nairobi, we have regional offices in Kampala and Dar es Salaam. Our aim is to make available materials of any court rulings to professionals and other interested parties in the form that best suits them. We are currently publishing the East Africa Law Reports, LawAfrica Law Reports, East Africa Court of Appeal Reports, Laws of Kenya and Hot from the Bench. Since inception in 1999, the demand for our products continues to grow; we are seeking to fill the position of Head of Sales & Marketing with a professional individual who wishes to join us in this growth path.
We serve a very distinct and distinguished market and your role will be to ensure our presence in this market. You will direct and coordinate the sales and marketing function ensuring projected revenues and margins are achieved.
This will entail the development and implementation of the appropriate marketing, sales and communication strategies; establishment and continuous review of the distribution process; and the effective management of the sales and marketing team. You will work with service providers such as advertising agencies, distributors, researchers, etc to ensure the achievement of stated goals. Client relationship management will be core.
We will be discussing this position with business degree holders with a post graduate sales and/or marketing degree and three years experience in marketing management.
You will also have: Sales, marketing and distribution experience Proven experience of working with service providers such as ad agencies, research firms, etc Relationship marketing experience Strong presentation skills and experience of making presentations to various audiences including the Board. Experience of product development and roll out. Sound knowledge of the publishing industry.
