    Description:

    Friends of Samburu (FoS) is an network of concerned persons interested in the survival and flourishing of the Samburu people and their environment as an integral part of the Kenyan nation and global human family.

    Mission:
    To support personal efforts of one heroic, Tina Ramme (a Harvard University professor conducting research on lions in Samburu)  and her colleague, Roxanne Reddington-Wilde (Massachusetts), in preserving the Samburu people through appeals for international intervention in their predicament of state condoned systematic impoverishment and killing.  Please visit http://savesamburu.org/blog/

    Vision
    Our vision is to see the Samburu community become a dignified, integral part of the global human family.

    Our Work
    FoS is currently studying supplementary sources of livelihood for the Samburu (customarily) pastoralist community, that is now ravaged by drought, famine and cattle raids.
