Let them count us so they know how many of us are without the social welfare they are entitled to provide to us. The leaders we elect promise and pledge to represent our interests but the soonest they settle in Nairobi they forget the whole idea why they ever begged to be elected.
Let them get the data they want so that we can demand back the resolutions for the misery affecting our people. Bring forward all the handicap children and adult who need governmental protection and let them be counted. Please do not hide them because if you do, they won’t get the attention they deserve.
Bring forward the mentally disabled members of our families to be counted as well. All human beings are equal and deserve the rig
ht to be protected under the “Constitution of Kenya”??? At least, we are all naturally entitled to a decent life and self determination and that’s why we must all be recognized.
Let mothers and young girls freely tell about their dead family members or failed pregnancies. Please help our people to understand and answer the questions correctly and be aware of the taboos that can prevent people from talking about the dead or still births.
With these data, we’ll put the politicians and policy makers to accountable, (of course if that is possible in Kenya) and ensure that the statistics they collect can be used against them in ten years time if they fail to be responsible.
Things will hopefully be better in 10 years time from now. It is our conviction to continue demanding that the system in Kenya be sensible and humane.
Lets all cooperate with the census agents, after all, in normal circumstances, these data is used to improve the lives of the counted people, and not the uncounted ones!
